Final Post

I believe my favorite project to work on was the Senior Farewell video. It was extremely fun to work with my friends on one last video before heading off to our respective colleges or universities.

What skill I would use from IMED would be knowing how to use Photoshop. I've always wanted to learn how to use Photoshop and I never thought I would get to learn it at RCHS. I will defintely be using it in the future.

Capstone Website, Poster, & Experince

(Video on website, under Thank You Video)

I sent you the poster in an earlier email. This blog won't let me attach the PDF.

My Capstone Presentation Experience

I was thrown off by the judges, because they constantly asked questions, and didn't let me present. One of the judges could not even relate to the topic at hand because she had never been to a hospital or clinic for any reason. I wasn't able to show my PSA, which upsetted me a great deal because I had worked so hard on it.

Buzzfeed Video & Computer Literacy

Favorite Buzzfeed Fact: That we have up to 2 gallons of blood in our body.

Computer Literacy: Being able to avidly work a computer. I believe it is important, because our world is advancing so much technologically, that it's not ideal to be not computer literate.

Capstone PSA Outline

Part 1: Fact about Nurses. "Nurses make up the majority of hospital staff and provide more care than any other staff member." UPenn Site

Part 3: Story 2:

Part 4: Fact about Nurses "In a 2001 survey done by the ANA/NursingWorld.com, 45% of nurses expressed fear of getting a potentially deadly disease as one of their top three occupational health concerns."

**Despite this, nurses continue to give care to the ailing**

Part 5: Nurses give their time, risk their health, and sacrifice their sleep for patients. We should return the favor by appreciating nurses. Let's give back.

Part 6: Thank a nurse today!

Take pictures of actual nurses working. Record my voice saying the quotes.
